Vison Chemicals manufactures SS316L jacketed reactors engineered for the synthesis of phosphonate corrosion and scale inhibitors such as HEDP (hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid), ATMP (amino trimethylene phosphonic acid) and PBTC (phosphonobutane tricarboxylic acid). Each corrosion inhibitor reactor is built with a dimple jacket, anchor and turbine agitation, and a mechanical seal to handle the exothermic acidic phosphonation and Mannich reactions that produce these water treatment chemicals. Precise jacket cooling and PID temperature control deliver the consistent batch quality required for cooling water, boiler water and oilfield corrosion inhibitor programs.
